On to the Next Step
Here it is! the final blog post for the final week of this semester. This class was ‘Intro to Entrepreneurship.’ I have enjoyed the class! I consider that title and think, there should be a ‘Next Step in Entrepreneurship’ class. This one is all about examining who you are, who you want to be, how you are going to get there, and who you are going to take along with you. I would love another follow-up class that gets the wheels of our projects turning. I guess I will have to start that on my own!
There are some really great ideas that we have learned and discussed, but most of the things that I have read that have really resonated with me are from the talks of prophets and apostles. I think it’s amazing how everything is known and planned for by our Heavenly Father. Nothing is too small. And everything matters – whether it is learning of Him, or applying for a job – He is actively involved in our lives. Taking a business class but listening to leaders speak from the pulpit you might think, ‘why? I want to hear from business gurus,’ but the application of the spiritual helps the progression of the secular more than anything else.
This has been a good reminder for me. I get caught up in the minutia of life that I forget sometimes to concentrate on the bigger, more eternal perspective. Everything that has happened and everything that is going to happen does for a reason, and I can have the faith that it is in all in Heavenly Father’s hands. And everything that does happen is an opportunity to show my gratitude, my faith, and my determination to work hard to help others and to spread joy.
I’m happy to have been reminded every week of ways I can do better, be better, and most importantly, help other people also be better.
